About the role#
Cerity Partners is seeking interns for the Summer 2027 program in Louisville. This is a paid position requiring 30 to 40 hours per week. You will gain exposure to the financial industry while working with our corporate accounting team. The role offers direct interaction with senior leadership and hands-on experience in wealth management and financial planning.
What you'll do#
- Assist account leads with daily accounting tasks including batch accounting for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process and post transactions and related journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Gain experience with accounting processes across various industries.
- Shadow and participate in client presentations.
- Collaborate with a team on a financial planning project.
- Attend employee social and volunteer events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations, ideally in a leadership role, or previous professional work experience.
- Alignment with the mission and core values of Cerity Partners.
