About the role#
Centerstone Cleveland is hiring interns for the school year. You will support school-based staff and assist at the clinic as needed. This is an unpaid internship position.
What you'll do#
- Provide assessment, case coordination, and counseling for individuals, groups, and families.
- Shadow school-based staff to learn the expectations of a school-based therapist.
- Lead at least one group activity consistently throughout the school year, including planning, finding resources, and writing notes.
- Maintain 24-hour documentation standards.
- Attend weekly supervision sessions with Centerstone and your academic program.
- Participate in new hire orientation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- Status as a student in good standing.
- Ability to shadow school-based staff.
- Commitment to completing a specific number of hours each week.
