About the role#
Centerstone Cleveland is seeking interns for the current school year. This role involves supporting school-based staff and assisting at the clinic as needed. Interns will provide services under the guidance of a School Based Team Leader, Clinical Supervisor, or Therapist.
What you'll do#
- Provide assessment, case coordination, and counseling for individuals, groups, and families.
- Shadow school-based staff to learn the expectations of a school-based therapist.
- Lead at least one group activity consistently throughout the school year, including planning, resource gathering, and documentation.
- Maintain documentation standards within 24 hours of service.
- Participate in new hire orientation and attend required weekly supervision sessions.
- Manage a caseload throughout the school year.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's level counseling program (such as Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work) as a student in good standing.
- Minimum education level of a bachelor's degree.
- Ability to commit to a set number of hours each week.
- Ability to shadow school-based staff.
