Master Level Intern

About the role#

Centerstone Cleveland is seeking interns for the school year to support school-based staff and clinic operations. This is an unpaid, part-time internship opportunity. Interns will work under the guidance of a School Based Team Leader, Clinical Supervisor, or Therapist.

What you'll do#

• Provide assessment, case coordination, and counseling services for individuals, groups, and families.
• Shadow school-based staff to learn the expectations and responsibilities of a school-based therapist.
• Plan and lead at least one weekly group activity throughout the school year, including resource preparation and documentation.
• Maintain 24-hour documentation standards for all caseload activities.
• Attend weekly supervision sessions as required by both Centerstone and your academic program.
• Participate in new hire orientation at the start of the internship.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Human Resources, Public Health, or Nursing.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree and status as a student in good standing.
• Ability to commit to a consistent number of hours each week.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including 80% sitting and 20% standing, with occasional lifting, bending, and driving.
