About the role#
The Student Ambassador program is a paid leadership opportunity for current students. You will develop professional skills while representing the college to prospective students and their families. This role involves campus involvement, networking, and gaining hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Promote and attend recruitment events, college fairs, and community programs.
- Assist the Admissions office with recruitment efforts.
- Lead campus tours for prospective students and their families.
- Share your personal experiences at Cecil College during presentations.
- Maintain current knowledge of academic programs and student life.
- Perform office and clerical duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student at Cecil College.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
- Commit to working at least five events per academic year.
- Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 lbs.

- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
- This is a part-time, non-exempt position.
