About the role#
CDW is seeking a Campus Intern at the University of Maryland to serve as a bridge between the company and the university. This role allows students to gain customer-facing experience and exposure to the IT industry while remaining on campus. Interns receive six weeks of paid training and ongoing mentorship from a dedicated program manager and sales team. This is a year-round position that offers flexibility to balance academic workloads.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a liaison between the CDW Sales team, university departments, and technology partners.
- Network and build relationships with existing customers across the campus.
- Research technology trends to identify strategic opportunities for CDW.
- Educate customers on the value and expertise offered through the CDW partnership.
- Participate in ongoing training including job shadowing, webinars, and vendor-sponsored events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in an undergraduate program at the University of Maryland.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong organization and time management skills to work in an independent environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization.
- Availability to work 15-25 hours per week during standard business hours.
- Authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This position is remote and based on the University of Maryland campus.
- The role is part-time and paid at an hourly rate of $15.85.
- The internship term is rolling.
