About the role#
CDPQ Infra is looking for an intern to join the Environment team. This is a full-time, paid position based in Montréal. You will work on major infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to large-scale development and environmental compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support the environment team by analyzing technical, regulatory, and contractual documents.
- Monitor environmental commitments, permits, and obligations.
- Update tracking tables for project conditions and deadlines.
- Organize environmental information to ensure it is easy to access, share, and consult.
- Maintain documentation in SharePoint and other team tools to ensure traceability.
- Prepare environmental presentations and update working tools like checklists and tracking sheets.
- Help update materials for environmental awareness, communication, and mobilization.
- Participate in meetings and workshops, documenting required actions from these exchanges.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least two years of a Baccalaureate in engineering, environment, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in environmental issues related to large infrastructure projects.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and synthesize information effectively.
- Rigor, attention to detail, autonomy, and curiosity.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in environmental audits, site visits, and monitoring requirements.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot, environmental regulations, or ISO 14001 is an asset.
