About the role#
Working within the Finance department, this intern will support daily accounting activities and contribute to core financial processes. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Montreal.
What you'll do#
- Participate in accounting period-end closing activities.
- Track the approval of invoices and purchase orders to ensure timely payment.
- Collaborate on the monthly cost control process, including expense analysis and monitoring.
- Use automation tools to process and analyze financial data efficiently.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding cost control and budget tracking.
- Review invoicing and supporting documentation for travel and other business expenses.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program (second year or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery, and Power BI.
- Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
- Previous internship experience in finance is considered an asset.
