About the role#
CAWST is hiring a Learning and Development Intern to join our Global Services team for a 12-month contract. This position focuses on projects that support our global mission, with specific tasks shaped by your skills and our current organizational needs. You will have the chance to work alongside cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Digital Services, and Fund Development.
What you'll do#
- Manage learning administration, including course set-up and support.
- Oversee knowledge management by cataloguing, organizing, and managing metadata for our resource library.
- Analyze data from training evaluations, web analytics, and annual surveys.
- Research and write technical briefs and case studies.
- Create learning tools and assets such as online modules, activity guides, lesson plans, and presentations.
What you'll need#
- A strong commitment to the CAWST cause.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to conduct self-directed learning.
- Strong research capabilities.
- Creativity and an eye for graphic design.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to take initiative.
- Accountability, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Fluency in French or Spanish is an asset.
- Canadian work authorization valid for the full 12-month duration.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid role based in Calgary, Alberta.
- You will work from the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
- Compensation is $24.50 per hour.
