About the role#
This is a paid, year-round internship based at our San Diego facility. You will support laboratory operations by managing glassware and maintaining clean work areas. This role offers an opportunity to learn about pharmaceutical development and GMP practices in a professional setting. We require a commitment of 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 3:30 PM.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and restock laboratory glassware.
- Prepare cleaning solutions and participate in the washing process.
- Ensure all storage and work areas remain clean and orderly.
- Learn and follow established GMP practices.
- Perform other lab-related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a part-time or full-time student in an Associate or Bachelor degree program.
- Academic focus in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Ability to perform routine tasks with high attention to detail.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks like standing, reaching, and crouching.
- Availability to work on-site in San Diego for 15-20 hours per week.
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred.
