About the role#
This is an 11-week full-time summer internship within the Finance team. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate tax while building professional skills. This role is intended for students considering future paths in taxation, law, or the CPA exam. You will work 40 hours per week from June through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the tax team with the tax reporting provision process, including workpaper roll-forwards, SOX control assistance, and updating tax memos.
- Use the Corptax software system to support tax operations.
- Help with federal, state, and international tax compliance, including tax adjustment computations, state apportionment analysis, and return reviews.
- Conduct research on sales and use tax matters.
- Support ad hoc projects such as transfer pricing and R&D tax credit studies.
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, tools, AI, communication, and training.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Eligibility to complete a full-time internship.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage your own schedule and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Location & details#
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You will work from the office approximately three days per week.
- Compensation: $25 per hour.
