About the role#
CarGurus is looking for a Product Manager Intern to join our Dealer team for the summer. You will work with the Marketing squad to help dealers market their inventory through our platform. This role involves balancing the needs of car shoppers and dealers while using data and feedback to build better features. You will partner with a Senior Product Manager and collaborate across engineering, product marketing, sales, and account management teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and delivery.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and data to guide product decisions.
- Define product requirements, write user stories, and help prioritize features.
- Track product performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare documentation and communications to support product launches and go-to-market activities.
- Conduct competitive analysis to refine product positioning and strategy.
- Present findings, ideas, and progress to stakeholders during team meetings and reviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated approach to work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Genuine curiosity and interest in understanding user behavior and improving user experiences.
- Prior internship or project experience is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- You must be eligible to work 40 hours per week from June through August.
- The role is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- We operate on a hybrid schedule, with expectations to work from the office approximately 3 days per week.
