About the role#
As a Data Analytics Engineer Intern, you will join an 11-week program focused on building data products and developing engineering skills. You will work alongside senior engineers and analysts to create reliable data models that support business decisions. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design and build data products using dbt, Snowflake, and Omni.
- Write modular SQL and Python code using version control.
- Participate in code reviews with the team.
- Support data infrastructure improvements, including testing, documentation, and reliability.
- Partner with analysts and engineers to translate business questions into structured data solutions.
- Learn analytics-engineering best practices and modeling patterns.
- Identify ways to automate and improve team efficiency using the company AI data platform.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience writing SQL through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with joins and performant queries.
- A curious and analytical mindset.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a driven approach to work.
Location & details#
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office approximately three days per week.
- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $30 per hour.
