About the role#
The Trust and Safety team keeps our marketplace safe and transparent for all users. As an intern, you will rotate through key operational areas including content moderation, fraud prevention, and data integrity. This is an 11-week, full-time program running from June through August 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in marketplace compliance while building professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Analyze outcomes from user-generated content moderation and fraud prevention decisions.
- Update Content Moderation Guidelines and policies to help enforce trust at scale.
- Review listings and content to identify and act on policy violations.
- Investigate reports of policy violations by gathering information from multiple sources.
- Document case lifecycles and provide updates to internal stakeholders.
- Advise account teams on remediation pathways.
- Manage dealer database accuracy and process changes of ownership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to find answers independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with multi-tasking and adapting to changing responsibilities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- A curious mindset and willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- We operate on a hybrid schedule, requiring you to work from the office approximately three days per week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
