About the role#
The Student Clinical Nurse role provides support in a clinical setting at Hoboken University Hospital. This is a per diem position for the day shift. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to assist with patient care and unit operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct, basic patient care activities while supervised by a registered nurse.
- Clean and maintain specific medical equipment.
- Manage the stocking of supplies and equipment across the unit.
- Transport patients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be a high school graduate or hold a GED.
- You must be a currently matriculated nursing student.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information.
- Completion of the influenza vaccination requirement prior to your start date.
