About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with accounting practices in the non-profit sector. You will join our team to learn how we support the organization, helping us serve children and families across Mississippi. This is a paid, part-time position offered for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Process various types of accounts payable transactions.
- Perform account reconciliation tasks.
- Handle vendor invoices.
- Manage employee reimbursements.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics.
- You must be enrolled and in good academic standing at an accredited institution.
- You need an established contract with your academic institution.
- A minimum 100-hour commitment is required.
- You must attend a mandatory orientation and training session.
- You are expected to complete goals set by your college and your site supervisor.
- Adherence to Business Professional or Clinical Attire is required.
