About the role#
You will work with our IT team to support the technology our staff uses to develop design solutions. This is a part-time, temporary position. You will work 24 to 32 hours per week. This role requires you to work on-site in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office.
What you'll do#
- Receive, manage, and close out Helpdesk tickets while escalating issues when necessary.
- Communicate with end users regarding expected resolution times.
- Provide technical support for local and remote users, including troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft Office issues.
- Set up and coordinate equipment for employees.
- Identify hardware that needs an upgrade and work with System Administrators to implement replacements.
- Test and evaluate new hardware and software alongside IT staff and design technology leadership.
- Modify existing hardware and software to meet specific needs.
- Maintain peripherals such as printers.
- Travel may be required occasionally.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to think creatively.
- Ability to work well with the IT team to provide technical resolutions in a professional, user-friendly manner.
