About the role#
This is a full-time student position within the Data, Analytics and Reporting team. You will work alongside the Development Operations and Asset Retirement groups. This role is based in Calgary and requires on-site attendance. The term begins in January 2027 for a duration of 8 or 12 months.
What you'll do#
- Support Development Operations and Asset Retirement teams by digitizing project surveys.
- Collect and file spatial data.
- Generate and program maps.
- Gain experience using software such as ArcGIS Pro, FME, and Global Mapper.
- Learn about site operations including scouting, earthworks, and reclamation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in your 2nd year of a GIS program.
- Ability to stay organized and manage competing priorities.
- Motivation to learn and contribute to projects.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
- You must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
