About the role#
CACI is seeking an Operational Excellence intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. You will work alongside professionals in areas like governance, change management, and quality to help enhance organizational performance. This role focuses on developing your skills in data analysis, process documentation, and operational problem-solving while contributing to projects that support the company mission.
What you'll do#
- Assist with process mapping and workflow documentation while identifying areas for improvement.
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to help inform business recommendations.
- Help prepare materials for performance dashboards, operational reporting, and reviews.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives across teams including risk, customer satisfaction, and program assurance.
- Provide general project support through research, documentation updates, and stakeholder coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program.
- A major in business, operations management, analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Previous related experience is preferred.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
