About the role#
C & B Ag is hiring a Diesel Tech Student for our Edgerton, Minnesota location. This is a paid internship for students currently enrolled in an accredited diesel technology program. The role offers a path to a full-time Service Technician position upon graduation, including a tuition reimbursement program of up to $25,000 paid over five years.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills through hands-on diesel service work.
- Complete all school assignments and lab work while maintaining a 3.2 GPA or higher.
- Meet your school's attendance requirements.
- Learn about John Deere and competitive machinery products.
- Participate in required training programs to develop your knowledge.
- Keep your work area clean, orderly, and follow all safety procedures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment or acceptance into an accredited Diesel Technology Program.
- A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, standing, walking, and pulling.
- Interest in learning the tools and techniques used to repair engines and machinery.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Success in a pre-employment drug test and background check.
