About the role#
Burt's Bees is hiring a Supply Chain Intern for our Technical Track during the Summer 2027 term. This full-time internship provides hands-on experience within our Operations Services groups. You will work on technical projects across manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering, while gaining exposure to the end-to-end supply chain. This position is a hybrid role based in Alpharetta, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Implement improvement projects within manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Develop tools for multi-level data analysis.
- Build quality into manufacturing processes and supporting systems to reduce waste.
- Support corporate engineering capital projects, including managing consultants and supervising contractors.
- Assist with data collection and quality for safety and environmental incident reporting.
- Interface with plant maintenance, operations, and business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas, build relationships, and translate priorities into actionable tactics.
- Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Aptitude for learning new systems and processes.
- Junior or Senior class standing is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Prior internship experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering is preferred.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
