About the role#
This internship is part of the Summer 2027 program at Burt's Bees. You will be assigned to a specific business Supply Chain group to gain experience in logistics, planning, manufacturing, or sourcing. This role is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, and operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data related to production, demand, inventory levels, transportation, and historical sales to support operations planning.
- Support logistics decision-making by maintaining and reporting on key metrics for customer service and distribution center operations.
- Interface with customers, vendors, and partners to manage orders and relationships.
- Work with team members to break down business processes and identify ways to reduce waste.
- Help manage procurement processes and facilitate internal information gathering.
- Develop skills across descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to improve supply chain efficiency and strategic thinking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program, specifically in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively and build professional relationships.
- Capability to translate priorities into clear, actionable tactics.
- Aptitude for learning new systems and processes.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
- Junior or Senior class standing and a GPA of 3.0 or higher are preferred.
- Prior internship experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Business is preferred.
