About the role#
The Broadcast Intern supports the production team for Sabres Live and game broadcasts. You will assist with preproduction, studio work, and postproduction tasks. This role involves working in both office and live event settings throughout the 2026-2027 season.
What you'll do#
- Prepare topics, news, notes, and highlights for Sabres Live.
- Edit video content for Sabres Live and game broadcasts.
- Work in the studio for Sabres Live and game night productions.
- Operate the Sabres Live content management system, including posting content and editing graphics.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet production objectives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor or Associate degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.
- Ability to shoot and edit video.
- Experience in a studio setting with audio and graphics.
- Knowledge of hockey and the NHL, plus lacrosse and the NLL.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere.
- Capability to lift, transport, and manipulate camera equipment up to 50 pounds.

- Location: Buffalo, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time with required flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
