About the role#
Brown Advisory is hiring Summer Analysts for a 9-week program during the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship designed to provide a broad view of investment management. You will work on projects that impact firm-wide decision-making while building your analytical and communication skills. Interns may choose a specialty area, such as Portfolio Management or Investment Research, to focus their experience.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects that span the entire firm.
- Assist in preparing mock client materials, analyzing performance data, and participating in meetings.
- Work alongside research professionals to analyze companies, sectors, and macroeconomic trends.
- Contribute to financial modeling, company analysis, or thematic research that informs investment decisions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to learn how to harness data to inform investment decisions.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and must submit an unofficial transcript with your application.
- You have experience with MS Excel.
- You demonstrate initiative, leadership, and adaptability.
- You possess strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Relevant majors include Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Data Science.
