    About the role#

    Bridgewater Bank is seeking a Legal Intern for the Summer 2027 internship program. This full-time, on-site role is based in St Louis Park, Minnesota. You will work within the Legal Department to gain experience in a banking environment, applying your academic background to projects that support the organization.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with employees on various initiatives.
    • Attend departmental meetings to observe strategic decision-making.
    • Lead individual projects and present your work to the Intern Cohort.
    • Present project results to Operational and Senior Leadership Teams.

    What you'll need#

    • You are a Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor degree program.
    • You have authorization to work in the United States.
    • You have an interest in a legal career, such as becoming a paralegal or law student.
    • Demonstrated academic achievement and high attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly to various audiences.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Ability to maintain professional integrity and handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams.

    Location & details#

    • Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota.
    • Term: May 25, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
    • Pay: $22 per hour.
    • Benefits: 2 paid holidays and PTO accrued in compliance with Minnesota law.
