About the role#
Bridgewater Bank is seeking a Legal Intern for the Summer 2027 internship program. This full-time, on-site role is based in St Louis Park, Minnesota. You will work within the Legal Department to gain experience in a banking environment, applying your academic background to projects that support the organization.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with employees on various initiatives.
- Attend departmental meetings to observe strategic decision-making.
- Lead individual projects and present your work to the Intern Cohort.
- Present project results to Operational and Senior Leadership Teams.
What you'll need#
- You are a Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor degree program.
- You have authorization to work in the United States.
- You have an interest in a legal career, such as becoming a paralegal or law student.
- Demonstrated academic achievement and high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly to various audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain professional integrity and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams.
Location & details#
- Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota.
- Term: May 25, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
- Pay: $22 per hour.
- Benefits: 2 paid holidays and PTO accrued in compliance with Minnesota law.
