About the role#
We are looking for an Acoustics intern to join our team for the Summer of 2027. This program focuses on building your comfort with the core principles of engineering systems. You will work alongside our engineers on project designs across various sectors and gain exposure to the different roles within the A/E/C industry.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering calculations and building simulations.
- Create computer-aided drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies.
- Verify permitting and code requirements.
- Prepare construction documents for engineering systems.
- Assist with equipment selection and systems design.
- Track RFIs, review shop drawings, and organize project information.
- Attend project meetings and site observations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS or MS in Architectural Engineering.
- Completion of at least 2 years of your education.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Interest in working within a collaborative team environment.
- Previous internships are a plus.
