About the role#
Branch is hiring an intern for our Summer 2027 program in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site position designed to provide students with practical experience in heavy civil construction. You will work alongside our teams to build skills necessary for a career in the construction industry.
What you'll do#
You will take on tasks within preconstruction, project management, and field supervision. Your responsibilities include:
- Interacting with subcontractors, vendors, and owners.
- Participating in cost planning, scheduling, and materials procurement.
- Assisting with cost control and quality management.
- Following all safety and security procedures.
- Preparing a final presentation at the end of the program to outline your experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A courteous and professional attitude.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- A determined mindset.

- Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, typically 40+ hours per week.
- Travel: Periodic travel to job sites and offices is required.
- Compensation: Paid position, ranging from $20 to $26 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
