About the role#
Branch is hiring an MEP Project Management & Estimating Intern for our Summer 2027 program in Roanoke, Virginia. This full-time, paid internship offers students the chance to work alongside our Preconstruction, Project Management, and Field Supervision teams. You will receive training and mentorship to help you build practical skills for a career in the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Interact with subcontractors, vendors, and owners.
- Assist with cost planning, scheduling, and materials procurement.
- Support cost control and quality management efforts.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
- Prepare a final presentation to outline your experience at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A courteous and professional attitude when working with others.
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- A determined mindset to make a difference.

- This position is based on-site in Roanoke, Virginia.
- This is a full-time role requiring 40+ hours per week.
- Travel to job sites and offices is required.
