About the role#
The Donor Engagement Intern will support the Resource Development team with donor stewardship, data management, and administrative tasks. This position provides hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, CRM management, and financial reconciliation. This role is part-time, offering 20 to 29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce, including contact updates and data cleaning.
- Support the creation of donor lists for campaigns, acknowledgments, and reporting.
- Prepare donor thank-you letters and acknowledgment emails.
- Assist with event-related invoicing and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
- Record in-kind donations and assist with coding gifts in Salesforce.
- Work with the finance team to reconcile donation records and assist with monthly reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college or recent graduate status.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Psychology, or Public Health.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn CRM systems, with Salesforce experience considered a plus.
