About the role#
Bowers Accountants & Advisors offers paid, full-time internships within our Audit and Tax teams. These roles are available for Winter and Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our offices in Syracuse, Rochester, Ithaca, or Watertown, New York. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Join the Audit or Tax team to learn the core business operations.
- Plan and prepare audit and tax services.
- Collaborate with staff accountants for support and training.
- Use firm software to complete assigned tasks.
- Provide clear and accurate updates on your project status.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program.
- An interest in a career in public accounting.
- Preference for candidates pursuing the 150-credit-hour requirement for CPA eligibility.
- Strong skills in organization, problem-solving, and analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
