About the role#
Bowers Accountants & Advisors offers internship opportunities for students interested in public accounting. You will join our Audit or Tax team to learn how our business functions. This is a paid, full-time position available for Winter or Summer 2027. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Plan and prepare audit and tax services.
- Work alongside our Audit and Tax Staff Accountants.
- Use firm software to complete assigned tasks.
- Provide clear and accurate updates on your project status.
- Learn our internal processes, policies, and how to address accounting issues.
- Build your written and verbal communication skills.
- Take part in firm outings and activities.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program.
- An interest in a career within public accounting.
- Preference is given to those pursuing the 150-credit-hour requirement for CPA eligibility.
- Strong skills in organization, problem-solving, and analysis.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
