About the role#
The Customer Experience Data Intern ensures accurate and reliable information within our sports and activities management platform. You will support customers and internal teams by entering and maintaining schedules, configuring schools and districts, and performing ongoing data cleanup. You will own a meaningful capstone project from your first day through the final presentation. This role requires careful attention to detail, a commitment to data integrity, and the ability to resolve discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
What you'll do#
- Enter and maintain sports and activity schedules for high schools and junior high schools.
- Set up and configure new schools, districts, conferences, and state associations.
- Review, compile, and prepare source data for system entry.
- Prioritize tasks to meet operational timelines.
- Use AI support tools to improve efficiency while applying human oversight to ensure quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct data errors or inconsistencies.
- Communicate unclear information to team leaders.
- Protect customer information and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Collaborate with team members on data operations and processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program or equivalent practical experience.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience entering, reviewing, or managing data in software systems or databases.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks across multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software platforms and digital tools.
- Clear written communication skills for documenting issues and collaborating with teammates.
- Experience with school data, sports schedules, or education-related systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets like Excel or Google Sheets is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer support, operations, or data entry is an asset.
