About the role#
As a Process Development Co-op, you will work with cross-functional teams to build manufacturing processes for medical devices. You will partner with R&D and Operations to move designs from early development into production. This role requires a commitment to an 8-month assignment.
What you'll do#
- Manage the integrity of Process Plans, including material selection and task sequencing.
- Collaborate with teams to refine and establish manufacturing processes.
- Design, fabricate, and test prototype devices based on clinical feedback.
- Conduct process characterization experiments and validation to determine optimal manufacturing settings.
- Investigate and recommend new technologies to improve device creation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or graduate degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date between Fall 2028 and Spring 2030.
- Ability to commit to a full 8-month co-op term starting in either Winter or Summer 2027.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
- Strong communication skills and a drive to learn new technologies.
- A desire to work in the medical device industry.

- This role is based in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
- Reliable transportation to the site is required.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least four days per week in the office.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
