About the role#
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is hiring a per diem Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team. You will assist pharmacists with daily operations, including prescription preparation and patient interaction. This is an on-site role based in Boston, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Stock, prepare, and distribute medications to support pharmacy services.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by monitoring supplies and removing outdated drugs.
- Prepare medications for pharmacist review by interpreting orders and calculating quantities.
- Counsel patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Ensure proper separation of 340B drug inventories.
- Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment according to infection-control protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Doctor of Pharmacy student.
- Valid Pharmacy Student Intern license or registration.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of related work experience.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

- Compensation: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour.
