About the role#

This internship involves supporting the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and updates to production networks. You will apply basic principles and theories to solve routine problems of limited scope. You will work under direct supervision and collaborate with engineering and product teams to address technical challenges.

What you'll do#

Support the design of network architectures and enhancements.
Solve routine technical problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
Apply limited industry knowledge to daily engineering tasks.
Work directly with product and engineering teams to ensure project alignment.

What you'll need#

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 1 year of experience in telecom engineering including RAN, LTE, 5G NR, or O-RAN systems.
Experience applying AI and ML in networking, automation, or signal processing.
Knowledge of 3GPP, CU/DU architectures, and RAN protocols like RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC, and PHY.
Experience with tools such as Python, C/C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, Kubernetes, and gNB simulators.
Familiarity with xApps, rApps, RIC platforms, and O-RAN Alliance specifications.
Ability to drive collaboration across teams.
