About the role#
Nelnet is exploring innovative AI technologies to improve internal operations. This internship with the Corporate Marketing & Communications team offers hands-on experience with AI tools and an opportunity to learn how these technologies enhance content creation, campaigns, and communication. Interns will receive one-on-one mentorship and participate in intern-specific programming.
What you'll do#
- Assist in exploring and testing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and PowerAutomate.
- Support the team in identifying tasks that can be automated to improve efficiency.
- Help integrate AI tools into existing marketing systems like CMS and CRM.
- Collaborate with team members to learn how AI is used in marketing workflows.
- Participate in training sessions and document best practices for using AI tools.
- Help monitor AI tool performance and gather feedback for improvements.
- Stay updated on new AI trends and share insights with the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
- Interest in AI technologies and digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of scripting languages, such as Python or JavaScript, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to innovative projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools and low or no-code platforms is a plus.
