About the role#
The Planning Challenger intern supports our production teams in Dorval. You will work on optimizing assembly processes and analyzing performance data to improve operational efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain departments.
What you'll do#
- Develop and optimize production activity sequences for assembly workstations.
- Analyze and balance workforce requirements based on operational needs.
- Conduct time studies to assess value-added activities and find improvement opportunities.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure assembly productivity.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Create work instructions and standard work charts by defining task sequences.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automated Production, or Operations and Logistics Engineering.
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes and lean production environments.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools like Value Stream Mapping and material flow analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to work effectively in both French and English.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Location: Dorval, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time internship.
- Note: This position is for current students only. Interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for work or training purposes.
