About the role#
The Aircraft Performance team provides the certified and operational data that defines the capabilities of our aircraft. We contribute to new aircraft development, support in-service airworthiness, and participate in flight testing. This internship is for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze flight test data.
- Generate certified and operational performance data for Flight Manuals and Flight Management Systems.
- Develop, validate, and maintain aircraft performance software and tools.
- Assist Sales and Marketing teams with performance data for campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a mechanical or aeronautical engineering program.
- Basic knowledge of aircraft take-off, landing, and mission performance.
- Familiarity with aircraft performance concepts and fluid dynamics.
- Programming experience in Fortran, Visual Basic, C++, C#, Python, or Matlab.
- Working knowledge of a UNIX operating system and MS Windows.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

- Note: This position is open only to current students. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
