About the role#
This is a 12-month internship for the Winter 2027 term based in Mississauga, Ontario. You will work within the Final Line Design Office, TRIM, and Project Engineering departments to support the Global 5500, 6500, and 8000 assembly lines. This is a full-time, paid, hybrid position open to current students.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering activities for final assembly lines and help resolve production issues.
- Manage change activities by tracking updates, supporting governance, and following up on action items.
- Contribute to the Bombardier Operational Excellence System by tracking process improvements and preparing KPI reports.
- Assist with the document release process and maintain relevant databases.
- Investigate and track engineering technical issues.
- Oversee engineering deliverables and monitor the completion of action items.
- Facilitate meetings by preparing materials, taking minutes, and distributing documentation.
- Build working relationships across various departments and teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering with at least two years of study completed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A desire to learn and contribute to an engineering environment.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, Power BI, Python, or Microsoft Project is an asset.
- Prior work experience or a previous engineering internship is an asset.

- Travel: Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
