About the role#
This internship supports the Global 5500, 6500, and 8000 Final Assembly Lines. You will assist with engineering activities and help resolve production-related issues. This role involves tracking changes, supporting governance processes, and managing engineering deliverables. You will also contribute to the Bombardier Operational Excellence System by monitoring improvement initiatives and reporting on key performance indicators.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Change Management activities, including tracking changes and following up on action items.
- Develop tools and applications to support engineering processes.
- Prepare and present KPI reports.
- Maintain databases for the Final Line document release process.
- Investigate and track engineering technical issues.
- Facilitate meetings by preparing materials, taking minutes, and distributing documentation.
- Build working relationships with cross-functional teams and various departments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least two years of study completed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in an engineering environment.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, Power BI, Python, or Microsoft Project is an asset.
- Previous work experience or a prior engineering internship is an asset.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Duration: 12 months.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- This is a paid, full-time position for students only.
- Interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training or work purposes.
