About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in claims and disability management. You will support the claim manager with daily tasks related to compensation programs. This position is a 12-month, full-time, paid internship based in St-Laurent, Quebec. You will work in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the claim manager in the daily administration of various compensation programs.
- Participate in projects and meetings focused on claims management.
- Coordinate with the Medical Service, Human Resources, and union representatives to ensure files are submitted and processed on time.
- Produce reports and handle administrative tasks.
- Provide necessary information to the Payroll department.
- Execute system transactions and keep data updated.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in industrial relations or human resources, or a College Diploma (DEC) in Legal Techniques or Specialized Medical Secretarial Studies.
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written formats.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel.
- A structured and organized approach to work with high attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset for working within a team.

- Modality: Hybrid.
- Note: This position is open to current students only, not new graduates. Interns may occasionally need to travel outside of Canada for training or work purposes.
