About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will join teams across production and engineering to uphold rigorous quality standards for aerospace products. You will gain hands-on experience in quality risk assessment, data analysis, and the implementation of quality management systems. This role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and defect-free manufacturing through collaboration and continuous improvement.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support product quality assurance.
- Support the implementation of quality principles, processes, and metrics to reduce defects.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Help develop, review, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Assist in assessing supplier capabilities and auditing quality systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- A major in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Availability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the Summer 2027 term.
- Status as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet Export Control compliance requirements.
