About the role#
The Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) summer internship program offers students the opportunity to transition classroom theory into high-impact practice. Interns work within a diverse digital ecosystem, tackling complex challenges across disciplines including AI and data, application development, cybersecurity, software engineering, network design, product management, and user experience design. This is a paid, full-time program designed to sharpen existing technical skills while building new competencies.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study to find solutions to real-world problems.
- Experience Boeing products up close by touring manufacturing and research facilities.
- Interact directly with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of the organization.
- Build a professional network through social events and engaging activities.
- Gain the skills and knowledge to prepare for a future leadership role in the aerospace industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous internship or work experience, or involvement with student or civic organizations.
- A passion for the aerospace industry.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, and Statistics.
