About the role#
The Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) internship program offers students the opportunity to apply classroom theory to high-impact projects. Interns work within a diverse digital ecosystem, tackling real-world challenges in areas such as AI and data, application development, cybersecurity, software engineering, network design, and systems integration. This program is designed to sharpen existing technical skills while building new competencies.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study to solve real-world problems.
- Experience Boeing products by touring manufacturing and research facilities.
- Interact with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of the industry.
- Build a professional network through social events and engaging activities.
- Gain the skills and knowledge required to become a future leader in aerospace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous internship or work experience, or involvement with student or civic organizations.
- A passion for the aerospace industry.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Statistics.
