About the role#
This paid internship program offers students the opportunity to contribute to engineering projects across space systems, military systems, commercial aircraft, and technology development. Over the course of 10 to 12 weeks, interns work directly with a mentor to solve real-world problems, gain hands-on experience, and interact with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of the industry.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering projects in specialized fields such as electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and industrial engineering.
- Tour state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facilities to experience products up close.
- Build a professional network through social events and collaborative activities.
- Gain practical skills and knowledge to prepare for a career in the aerospace industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
- Major in a core engineering or applied sciences discipline, including Aerospace, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or Data Science.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills.
- Status as a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet U.S. export control requirements.
