About the role#
The People, Engagement, and Impact internship at BNY is a 10-week summer program. You will work within a team that manages talent, leadership, and employee experience. This role focuses on using data, technology, and problem-solving to improve how the company supports its workforce and engages with the community.
What you'll do#
- Support priorities across people governance, employee relations, public policy, and community impact.
- Analyze and improve onboarding and internal mobility processes using employee feedback and digital tools.
- Support pilots of generative AI tools to assist with drafting knowledge articles and streamlining communications.
- Build or refine dashboards to track metrics like engagement trends, exit patterns, and learning participation.
- Help run pulse surveys and focus groups to gather insights for people strategies.
- Create toolkits and materials to help employees navigate organizational change.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Ability to work without requiring sponsorship for an employment visa.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Communications, Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
