About the role#
This summer internship offers students hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will work on projects that provide insight into the economic and operational aspects of the freight transportation industry. The program is designed to build your analytical skills and provide exposure to financial systems. Successful interns may be considered for full-time Management Trainee roles upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Prepare internal and external reports and perform account reconciliations.
- Conduct contract research and maintain confidential information securely.
- Assist in testing system changes and enhancements while handling ad-hoc requests.
- Build strong relationships with customers, employees, and business partners through issue resolution.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
- Maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- At least eighteen years old upon hire.
- Less than three years of professional work experience, excluding internships or part-time jobs held while pursuing your degree.

- Location: Topeka, Kansas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with the ability to work one day per week remotely.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time position.
- Training: Includes a two-day orientation in Fort Worth, Texas.
