About the role#
As an Electronics Design Co-op, you will design real products and receive the same level of responsibility as full-time engineers. You will participate in all stages of the design process, moving from initial whiteboard concepts to fully tested, volume-manufactured marine robotics products. This role is designed to help you expand your technical depth and understanding within a collaborative engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage the full product design lifecycle, from concept to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop components and systems for underwater exploration.
- Apply your technical skills to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Engage in hands-on design work rather than manufacturing line tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering degree program, such as Electrical, Engineering Physics, or Mechatronics.
- A strong foundation in electronic and microelectronic theory.
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing PCBs.
- A deep impulse to understand systems and create new things.
- An innate desire to collaborate, learn, and adapt to new challenges.
