About the role#
As a Procurement Intern at Blount Fine Foods, you will work within the Indirect Procurement department to support the full procurement cycle. This role involves handling administrative tasks that assist with daily fulfillment and long-term supply agreements. You will gain practical experience in business operations while working on-site in Fall River.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the setup and approval process for MRO and Packaging items.
- Submit and track orders using the internal inventory system.
- Update purchase orders and confirm pricing in eMaint and X3 software.
- Set up new vendors in coordination with the AP team.
- Coordinate inventory counts throughout the plant.
- Follow up with department leaders to obtain necessary sign-offs for new items.
- Confirm shipments and update purchase orders with estimated arrival times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and shift focus between projects.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and organizational ability.
- Willingness to learn software programs such as X3, SharePoint, and Safety Chain.

- This position is based on-site in Fall River, Massachusetts.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
