About the role#
As a Process Engineer Intern, you will work on projects related to LNG, fertilizers, gasification, hydrogen, fermentation, sulfur recovery, gas treating, and NGL recovery. You will contribute to engineering analyses, design work, and report production while gaining hands-on experience in the engineering services industry.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with engineering analyses and designs.
- Prepare basic calculations and assist with equipment selection.
- Collect, organize, and evaluate technical data.
- Schedule project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited Chemical or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding, including background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches.
- Prior internship experience in Gas, Fuel, and Chemicals is preferred.
- Experience with P&ID and PFD is preferred.
- Preferred personal attributes include strong problem solving, written communication, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.

- Location: Overland Park, Kansas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
