About the role#
Bilfinger is offering a 12-week summer internship for students interested in construction management. This role provides a site-based learning experience where you will work directly with project teams to understand how safety, quality, and cost impact industrial operations. You will gain practical exposure to the project lifecycle and contribute to real-world tasks.
What you'll do#
- Complete HR onboarding and site safety orientation.
- Learn to follow our safety culture and project-specific quality standards.
- Shadow construction managers, project managers, and site leaders during daily operations, planning discussions, and project meetings.
- Work on a defined site-based project or process improvement task under mentor guidance.
- Attend regular check-ins with supervisors and mentors to receive feedback.
- Complete online training modules covering safety awareness and professional development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to be mobile and travel as required for site assignments.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to your work.

- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
