About the role#
Bilfinger is seeking interns for a 12-week summer program based at our project sites. This role offers a structured learning experience where you will observe and support construction management operations. You will work alongside project teams to gain practical exposure to field execution, safety culture, and project documentation.
What you'll do#
- Complete HR onboarding and site safety orientation.
- Shadow construction managers, project managers, and site leaders during daily operations and project meetings.
- Participate in a defined site-based project or process improvement task.
- Attend regular check-ins with supervisors and mentors to receive feedback and guidance.
- Adhere to site-specific safety and quality standards.
- Complete online training modules regarding safety and professional development.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior standing in a degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Willingness to be mobile and travel as needed for site assignments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism and a desire to learn.
