About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Bernhard, you will support technical teams by performing basic engineering tasks. You will work under direct supervision to learn our organizational processes and contribute to assigned projects. This role is a chance to gain practical experience in utility system construction while developing a working knowledge of the field.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply organizational processes and procedures.
- Contribute to assigned engineering projects.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of technical documentation and records.
- Manage filing systems, drafting techniques, and data resources.
- Organize and store maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural records.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records to identify necessary revisions and prepare updated data.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow specific directions.
Location & details#
- Location: Glenolden, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Travel: You may spend up to 5% of your time traveling to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements include the ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods, climb stairs, and lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
